1. The site is rated L3S2V2. This means three things.
a. You can curse like a sailor and won’t offend anyone on the site, but please let’s keep things In-Character. Italy isn’t going to start swearing when something doesn’t go his way, and nor is England going to become Mr. Polite. This is not a 2P Universe RP site.
b. Sexual content is fine to an extent. You can hint at sex, reference it, and some description, but do not go into a Fifty Shades of Grey detailed description of what is happening. In simple, keep it above the belt. Now, if you are uncertain about your content, always feel free to throw a Mature tag on your thread and ask a Staffer.
c. It’s a dark!hetalia site, so of course violence is accepted. You can go into a wide detail of what is happening, but similar to above, please do not describe anything I would relate to the movie Hostel. There are always limits.
2. This is a Historical/War/Dark Hetalia Universe, which means threads can be set in the present time of World War III or any time within the history. If the thread is a historical thread, please label it in the subject as [Flashback - Date]. Example [Flashback - 1962]. All other threads will be assumed to be taking place during the current World War III.
3. No Godmodding or Powerplaying
a. Basically, don’t make your character overly powerful when it is not within the character's capability and don’t direct other characters actions. It’s not fun to roleplay when someone is controlling your character for you.
4. No 2P, Nyotalia, or any other AU
5. War
a. The theme of this site is World War III which naturally means there will be multiple countries in battle, and of course neither side wants to lose. For that reason, we add a little chance into the game.
i. If there is a battle/attack – Both parties must PM a Staffer stating the following, “I understand war can be left to the fates – Thread Name – Random Number our of Twelve of Player’s Choice.” We will roll a dice, and whoever has the closet will win the battle.
ii. NOTE: This will only occur if Player’s cannot decide for themselves who should or should not win. You do not have to participate in chance if both players AGREE on the final outcome of the battle. For Example, Russia invades Latvia. Russia’s Player and Latvia’s Player have both agreed that Russia will win the fight in the end. Therefore, no need for chance.
Out of Character
1. Be Respectful
a. We are all here to have fun. I don’t feel like I have to explain this more. Be nice. If there is someone being disrespectful, please reach out to a staffer immediately, and we will help.
2. Dark!Hetalia
a. This is a dark!hetalia site, which means at times things in IC can become aggressive and sometimes we can take it personally. I cannot stress it enough, do not connect IC actions to OOC actions. If you are ever offended by an IC action or can’t determine whether it was OOC, reach out to staff, we will help.
b. Because of the darker nature of the site, the minimum age requirement to join is 18 years or older.
3. Not to sound lame, but of course, HAVE FUN!
Activity
1. Posting Min
a. You are required to post at least once a month. If you have not posted in a month and have not put up a hiatus note, you will be automatically deleted without notice or warning. It is your responsibility to stay active. (I know this is a harsh rule to swallow, but having a main cannon character go inactive for months after months effects the entire site and ongoing plots.)
b. NOTE: Any deletions will occur on the 2nd of the Month.
c. If your account is deleted, and you wish to rejoin at a later date, please pm the staff. We will retrieve your application and allow you to resubmit.
